“Our family was first introduced to Taytum and Pure Beat Dance Studio in 2014, after a fellow school family suggested we send our daughter Chantal to her for dance classes. That first year Chantal attended one class per week and quickly became excited about classes and her love for dancing started. With Taytum’s teaching and continued support during this first year Chantal’s confidence in herself and her dance abilities grew. She now attends a wide variety of classes every week, has been encouraged by Taytum to work hard to undertake Jazz exams and she has of course made so many new friends in the process. Taytum has an extensive knowledge of dance, is well qualified and shows dedication to her teaching with every class she teaches. She offers a positive learning style, creative routines to learn and constant encouragement to all her students to work hard and to always do their best. In return, her students trust and respect her. The recent addition of a boy’s hip hop class has seen our son Patrick step out of his soccer boots and try out something new. It’s great to see a group of boys excited about dance classes and enjoying themselves. Plus, us Mum’s don’t miss out with fitness classes offered throughout each week plus a weekly dance class. It is a safe, non-judgemental environment for us self-conscious ladies to step out of our comfort zones, get fit and learn something new! The end of year showcases put on by all the students at the Studio are certainly a highlight that is looked forward to all year. It is a great way for everyone to see what they have achieved during the year. Being part of Pure Beat Dance Studio feels like being a member of a special family. We are always welcome to stay and watch classes or chat with other parents over a coffee.
